Photonfocus looks back at a further successful fiscal year 2013 confirming progress in the execution of the strategy. Sales increased by 20% compared to the previous year and profits were up significantly versus expectations. The interim financial statement confirmed the recognized trend and increase in profits since the beginning of 2014. Photonfocus is convinced it will most likely exceed its ambitious growth targets yet again. Moreover, Photonfocus has been nominated for the Swiss Excellence Award 2014 for its valuable contribution to the Goal Line Technology of Goal Control. This groundbreaking technology was successfully launched at the Football World Cup in Brazil this summer. Photonfocus was involved from the beginning in this ambitious and complex project and is proud of its contribution to this high profile project.
Increased production facilities were approved by the Board of Directors and are currently being implemented while further investments in response to increased demand are planned.
