UV CMOS camera with global shutter technology!

We proudly present the new Global Shutter CMOS UV camera – the MV4-D1280U-H01-GT!

It was specifically designed for all kinds of UV applications and provides a highly sensitive CMOS sensor even in the deepest UV spectrum: down to 175nm! Additionally, the sensor features BSI (back-side illumination) and provides therefore extra brilliant pictures.  

The sensor‘s Global Shutter functionality also contributes to the excellent image acquisition: it permits extraordinarily sharp pictures – no image distortion even at high-speed cycle times. The 1" UV CMOS sensor provides 140 fps at the full resolution of 1280 x 1024 px. The data is transferred at no speed loss via the 10GigE interface.

Thanks to our huge firmware feature set, the ROI is adjustable and enabling even higher frame rates!

Its excellent features make the MV4-D1280U-H01-GT the optimal solution even for challenging inspection tasks, e.g. for semiconductor industry.

The UV camera MV4-D1280U-H01-GT joins the photonSPECTRAL platform of the unique modular camera system from Photonfocus. Prototypes are available now.

This camera is optimally suited for all UV applications, for example in beam profilometry for UV lasers, in railway industry for pantograph spark detection and in wafer production for scratch detection, and many more!

The UV camera MV4-D1280U-H01-GT with its high-sensitivity CMOS sensor and Global Shutter technology sets new standards for precise image acquisition without the image shearing effect ususally found in rolling shutter UV cameras.

The sensor provides an extraordinary wide range from 175-865nm with more than 30% quantum efficiency! This means, the complete spectrum beginning at deep UV, over the visible spectrum, and up to NIR spectrum can be covered by this one sensor.

These characteristics clear the way for new applications beyond today‘s standard, for example you might think of 3D UV applications or applications in food industry where a wider spectrum or more flexible cameras might be used.
